DATA has a pool of about
250 male and 250 female
qualified and experienced field investigators and supervisors who can be
involved in socioeconomic surveys on a short notice of one week. Most of
these field investigators have thorough experience and training in fieldwork
through many surveys that has been carried in urban and rural areas all over
Bangladesh.
DATA also has a highly skilled group of staff who
perform database management and statistical analysis. Our data entry
operators ensure fast entry of quantitative data into MS Access, SPSS/DE or
other database management software. Analysts at DATA are efficient
conducting various types of statistical analysis that range from simple
descriptive tables to highly technical multivariate analysis. Over the years
these analysts have gained thorough experience in handling household level
data and thus familiar with various issues of cleaning such data.
DATA’s research services have been mostly carried out
by involving consultants and researchers for the purpose of specific
projects, and through mutual collaborations. DATA has a pool of researchers
that include economists, sociologist, nutritionist, agronomists, and other
social scientists who design the studies and surveys and prepare research
output. Many of them hold positions in reputed universities and research
organizations in the country and abroad, and have advanced training in their
respective field.
